The inaugural EPLC Conference will take place in April 2027 in Melbourne, Australia. This year’s theme is Collaborating for Change: Building Better Early Pregnancy Loss Care.

At this conference, we bring together the latest research in early pregnancy loss and create a space for cross-sector collaborations. We invite researchers, consumer groups and service providers to connect, share and build partnerships that will improve the quality of care and support provided to families who have experienced loss.

We invite abstracts on research into early pregnancy loss including but not limited to:

• Medical research on early pregnancy loss

• Navigating life and support after loss

• Diversity and inclusion in early pregnancy loss

• Policy and public health

Presenters can nominate their preference for a poster or presentation format. There will also be a dedicated session for higher degree research students to highlight their innovative research. At least one author on the submission will have a university affiliation.

Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and contain: background, aims, methods, results, and conclusions. A template is available here.
